NNZ presents: tomato study

From November 2012 to January 2013 NNZ has performed a consumer survey in Germany, The Netherlands and Belgium to gain insight in the buying behavior of tomatoes and packaging.

We have identified six consumer segments for tomatoes and packaging.

Each segment  offers specific opportunities for further increasing the 'taste of tomatoes' by means of choosing the optimal packaging. All segments appreciate packaging for 'transparancy', 'stability', 'ventilation',  in short for protecting of the consistency and firmness of tomatoes.
